These are my "Patty Fannys"-too cute right?
These are works-in-progress!
Hello to all you wonderful bloggers! My name is Pat and I'm VERY new to this blogging thing-but, boy am I having fun!! First I would like to thank Karen for ALL her hard work in bringing us all together--you rock, girlfriend!! Second, I want to thank YOU for checking me out--I'll repay the favor. I've been crafting since I could walk (well, ok, I'm exaggerating a little!). I use to make my own toys, draw and paint wonderful pictures and I even wrote short stories at the ripe old age of 6! I designed and sold collectible, mohair teddy bears and I even have a few living in Germany. I created into my adulthood, but then the cares/problems of life slowed me down and I lost my creativity for many years. But God is good and the last few years I've begun to feel the need to 'make something wonderful.' And so, I think, I create, I Pray and I'm beginning to find my artisic way again. I humbly invite you to visit my work shop---before and after an organizational make-over-- and I invite you into my world!! Please visit often, comment regularly and know that you are loved!! Pat, A Remade Life
It looks like perfect space to create to me. Thanks for sharing. This is a very fun party! Susan

What a great space to create ~ isn't stuff great!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
Your creative space is awesome. Being organized is highly overrated. I always though that a clean house was the sign of a bored woman.
ReplyDeleteMy hunny made me keep mine tidy - since it's in out breezeway and that is the main entrance to the house and believe me it it is a real struggle some days.
Hope you have a great weekend.
Hugs
Penny
Your purse is gorgeous!!! And the Patty Fannys are, too. When you create such beautiful items there has to be a bit of a mess. Enjoy it and keep creating!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely space. I just love those "Patty Fannies"==too cute! You're so creative. My room might appear nice and organized (if you stop by and visit), but when I'm creating--it's as though a cyclone had come through! To me, you can't create without making a mess!

ReplyDeleteYes, I love your Patty Fanny's,and the teapot and baby shoe pincushions! That looks like some fun fabrics. My old Singer is still going strong and I have it from 1987. I don't do a lot of sewing, but it has served me well when I have needed it. I expect your Kenmore is probably the same. : ) Thanks so much for sharing your creative space!

ReplyDeletePat,
ReplyDeleteYou are well on your way! It is looking lovely in your studio. I lost my creativity, too, and got it back in a hard way...I became very sick. I ended up having to go on disability from my job and finally slowly got myself back to life again by creating. I still have limits but nothing like it was twelve years ago.
If you wish, come and visit the blog of my daughter and me. We are new to blogging, too...only three months old and we are having a great time. It is about much more than our jewelry...our life, our other artistic interests, estate and rummage findings...It is a great community. Here is our address...

Thats some space you have there : ) Love the idea for the corner desk and how you put the dresser under it side-ways. And I love it how you reuse things for making new things, very neat.
